Welcome to Pwners United!

The Pwners United Clan was established as an online gaming community in mid-2006, under leader z0mgh4x (who now goes by her first name, Kate). Originally very small, Pwners United saw its numbers grow as WarRock -- the clan's first game -- became the popular (free) first-person shooter of the day. In its prime, Pwners United was one of the best-known (and most formidable) clans in WarRock.

As time passed, Pwners United experimented with other free first-person shooters. Its second game, Combat Arms, drew many young, talented players to its ranks, a number of whom are still with the clan today, some five or six years later. Pwners United has seen many of its members progress in their personal lives from middle school to high school, from high school to college, and from college onward.

Only recently did Pwners United, which has its roots in first-person shooters, begin to seriously consider other genres of games. Its largest and most active division today is for Vindictus, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Pwners United also has divisions for America's Army: Proving Grounds and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The clan frequently plays League of Legends and Dungeon Fighter Online.
