I've checked users activity on SG and there are a lot of people who did not log for 2 - 3 years. So I think I can safely assume they no longer use SG.

If there are people who no longer use SG but would want to stay in the group - they can reply to this announcement.

Otherwise I will remove everyone who was not active on SG for the past 2 years on Sunday, 27th of December.

Alright, we'll address the obvious question first:
"Why hasn't recruitment been opened yet? You keep assuring us it will!"
First off, I apologize. Kotor and I try our best (her best is better than mine), but while we've had the framework for recruitment in place for a while now, neither of us has had the free time to actually manage incoming recruitment requests.
As always, PosTho has a very open officer structure, so anyone that wants to help out certainly can. Once this batch of giveaways ends, we'll definitely see if we can't manage to make the time to better give you all the robust "semi-public filter" this group was always intended to provide.

It's been ages since I had time to give anything away, so it's time to make up for that a bit! I've posted a selection of games for you all across the next few weeks- some of the offerings are certainly more interesting than others, but hopefully all of you will find something worth investing your P into!

As you may have noticed, life delays have continued to put off recruitment- my apologies for that. For real this time, MsKotor will be opening recruitment up again within the next few days. We haven't yet decided what kind of cutoff we'll use, but we'll probably be limiting recruitment to batches. If you've someone who might be interested and qualify, but you're not willing to personally vouch for, do poke them to indicate their interest in the upcoming thread as soon as possible.

As always, we'll let in personally-vouched-for individuals (who meet group requirements) at any time- just give either of me or Kotor a poke (through SG, preferably).

As far as this year's holiday event- well, I'm planning on doing a little something for the group, but I likely won't have the time or energy to organize the usual event. Likewise, Kotor'll be busy with recruitment (in addition to her usual attentive management of the group), so it may be a bit much for her to organize on her own.

If anyone'd like to volunteer to help organize the event, please let us know!
Likewise, even if you don't want to volunteer, feel free to leave a comment indicating how interested you are in seeing the event happen! Or, just feel free to leave a friendly holiday message for the rest of the group. :)

CG added recently real won and sent CV to user profile page. That's why we will check ratio based on direct SG data, not SGtools data.

Though won CV is calculated slightly different on SG than on SGtools - GAs wtih less than 5 entries count as full / reduced value (depending if it was nonbundled or bundled game). So some people may see boost in their won CV, hence their SG ratio is no longer in limits of this group.

That's why users have time till 23th September to make sure that they still follow group requirements.

As soon as this next batch of giveaways end, and we see how many users already on probation for auto-joining haven't read- or cared to attend to- the new ejection rules for such, we'll be pushing forward with new recruitment.

We'll be taking a more controlled approach this time, reviewing applicants more carefully, inviting in small batches, and keeping a closer eye on new recruits in their early months within the group. Hopefully this'll help us avoid any of the early issues we had with exploitative members (and not lead to me single-handedly sabotaging Kotor's efforts of the past year in stabilizing the group :X).

As always, current members can recommend any user they're willing to vouch for, whether or not recruitment is currently open or not. However, if there's someone you haven't been quite willing to vouch for, but nevertheless still think is worth consideration, do feel free to give us notice, and we'll give them early consideration in the recruitment passes.
