Well.. Remember this community? It's been two years next week since Overcast was shut down for good. Since then I have had a community called Divinity Gaming Community. Howdy survivors, I hope that those of you who have joined us for our Dayz clan have enjoyed your first week with us! I have some great news for all of us having played a lot with you all over the weekend and late last week! First off I would like to say a huge thank you to Artyom for helping me set this clan up and begin the long road to become what I wish to see happen! The following are going to be the changes to the clan over the next week or so:

- Training sessions: Training sessions are going to be hosted by me every saturday to help our members (newbies or Veterans) get better at dayz together, we will train ourselves on tactics, game mechanics (how to aim with a scope? What gun to use) and team building. If you have a problem with the session being on a saturday (most likely 8 or 9 pm UK time) please contact me on steam!

- Enforcing Roleplay: This week I will be asking members to fill out a character profile for Roleplay within our clan, this roleplay will only be in game chat (so don't worry, you won't have to talk like a russian all the time). If you would like to make a character profile now, you can find it under Dayz on the forums!

- New Logo: The name says it all, ill be making us a logo for the Dayz clan! If anyone who is more experienced in photoshop or logo making is reading, any help is appreciated!

- Getting the best out of players: The whole point of DayZ is to survive in a harsh environment filled with friendly and well, not so friendly players. I want to get the best out of us all and turn us into a unstoppable survivalist group! Training will be the most part of this but this also means being organised in Teamspeak (not talking over eachother, listening to callouts, listening to orders).

- How do I rank up?: This question has been asked way to many times to me this week alone, you rank up by playing in a group and being active with us! This means interacting with us in teamspeak and game!

The past year was hard for us at Overcast Gaming Community but now we can get back on track and build what we have again, we have lost and gained members over the past year and I am sure everyone has met new people and had a lot of fun. I would like to run a community where there is a 0% tollerance on staff abuse and we have a group of players who are all equal and treated correctly.
