At 10 he had to kill his father and watch his town suffer and burn. He followed a Mercenary named Natalia and became her student. Later in life he met Irisviel and pursed his wish of saving the entire world. After the War, and the death of Irisviel Kiritsugu adopted Shirou and started new. On a clear night, he told Shirou of his failures and his foolish wish of being a Hero and save everyone. Shirou then tells him to not worry about it, and that he will take his place as a Champion of Justice. “Ahhh. The moon looks nice tonight.” Tears filled Kiritsugus eyes, and with a smile he later back on his porch. He look at Shirou, who was staring at the moon with a smile, and closed his eyes.
