I know some of you, most of you, ok, all of you are probably wondering if I fell into the abyss the last few years or at least what the heck happened to me. I know, I know, no excuses but all I can say is I had many personal, family, professional & medical issues to deal with and I'm just now starting to embrace the world again. Hope I haven't lost the connection, regards and respect of all of you still here. My Comrades...

Suffice to say I've really missed and have longed for the old days of being knee deep in blood & guts off on some other worldly map (ok, a 2142 map...hehe, ok, Camp G... LOL) with the odds stacked against us and surviving just five more minutes seems totally futile but somehow with my fellow soldiers at arms, (many of you), we pull that proverbial rabbit out of the hat once again, vanquish our foes, force them in to utter subservience yet again, haha, gotta luv it, right!

Ok, sure I also suffer with and from a rich fantasy life and very vivid imagination or some would say or call it RDD. a pure and undeniable Reality Detachment Disorder... ;-) haha...

Anyways, I have installed several games and want to start playing again some. Damn I miss it. Although this is my weak and general PC, my power system went down about a year and half agao, motherboard blew, that should clue you in a little, i have yet to fix it still, just been sitting there collecting dust, but plan on reviving it soon.

Have a warranty of 250 on it, if I can't fix it, looks like I'm buying a whole new Motherboard, CPU, and Memory. ♥♥♥♥ i just don't want to have to do all that, that's like 800 bucks for the good stuff, i did a little researching and I can't find a chip set compatible MB that will allow me to keep my present CPU....but.... oh well, just trying to show you all, I really did fall off the gaming earth for a long while, no joking about it.

Just have to see if it can give me more then a bevy of screen shots for a frame rate. I also want to get up an running with BF4 sometime, even play BF3 some again. I was reading just a few days ago, Dice is working right now, presently on a true update to BattleField, not that Hardline game, for release i guess in 2017. Damn i hope it's a true update to 2142.

They have to get off the contempory mold, the last 4 games I believe have all taken place in present times. Time for a change, right! Now I mean a real update to the old 2142 engine not a face paint job of BF4 so it just looks like 2142. That's what Dice did with BF:BC2 - Viet Nam. It had nothing to do with the old BF Viet Nam game, it was just a paint job of BC2 so it looked like Viet Nam. The style, format and structure was all different. I played both i know personally.

Anyway, been to long, have missed my old comrades-at-arms much, hoping to get a chance to chat, game, soldier and squad up with many of you soon again as I get a chance to embrace and indulge this blood lust that seems to be overwhelming me more and more for virtual sprites of discontent. (hey, thought it sounded good when i wrote it. I'm rusty, give me a break..... haha.)

This was just not gonna happen with the things i unfortunately had to deal with in my personal life the last 7 months or so, very sorry I got you all involved and any hopes up. Would have been great to see coming back on after all that time that you all could have reestablished =SOC= with out me but it doesn't seem to be the case. Anyway, i want to kill this group ok. Its kinda like a black smirch on =SOC=, not to say someone else cant pick up ther colors and rally the faithful and i would be interested but I cant be involved in the admin of it no time really at all as of now and into the future a bit.

Well hope we all still can sqaud up and play some games as we see each other on here and origin...but I'm gonna need you all to leave the group ok ASAP so I can kill it. I guess thats the only way it can be eliminated is if the group is zeroed out of all members right and then Steams runs a utility and eliminates all groups that have no members.

Know that its nothing personall with anyone here in the group I just have a bad taste in my mouth about this group cause it became a bridge to far and kind of a cluster f*ck as the word goes, haha, and lets put it behind us. I will give everyone a week to leave the group then kick who is left so steams vacuum cleaner over the night can abort this abeeration.

Angelus has =SOC= as a clan up anyway already which has been going since when Jimbo had that freakout and just killed it for everyone.

Anyway lets all talk to angelus and see if thatr is still up or someone start something else up and let me know so maybe i can join. If not time to start clan shopping for all of us. If you all see a good one let me know and I will do like wise for all you, :)

5-6 months, it's quite personal and private and am so sorry I couldn't be here hands on to help along the formation of this awesome ideal many of us yearned for early last year and ever since the original =SOC= Clans demise. I was hoping that somebody would have picked up the banner back when the group was created an maybe got this set up and organized while I was away but I'm either missing it or others was waiting on me to initiate it or were themselves occupied and couldn't devote the efforts either.

Whatever the reason if someone could let me know if a new clan was formed I would be most grateful for I very much desire to join as my life has finally allowed me to pursue some gaming again. If not, maybe it's not to late or still a common aspiration of all members still here to get a loose confederation of like minded BF games zealots to coordinate to play and squad together all the way up to the lofty desire to form a =SOC= clan under the auspices of it's standard bearer here at Steam Angelus which has always had it's halls open, warm and active since the demise years ago.

I realize my words maybe aren't very credible to all here now for the abrupt manner I left and didn't get back to revisit and keep in touch with you all and at the very least convey the state of where we were in forming this up or not. I hope all can accept my fervent apologies and realize I'm not exactly proud of what's happened and my inaction but as I tried to indicate above it couldn't be helped, the trials I faced and dealt with took most all my attention and efforts left me exasperated in all aspects.

Actually it's shameful the disregard I conducted myself with towards this group and your all interests to get this set up even if just loosely based. I'm here to acknowledge, to offer my sincere apologies for not being able to demonstrate more regard for your interests and concerns and convey my regrets.

All I can say to hopefully help you understand that this was not desired in the least by me, that this wasn't just done on purpose, that this wasn't done with any kind of deliberate disregard on my part for any one here is that I even bought the game the day before it came out, the zealots package even for I blew over 100 bucks on it that day and still have yet to download, install even open it. I had every intention of playing this till my fingers bled and hands cramped just like previous titles especially my all time favorite 2142 but a proverbial semi truck of crap had me in its sites and it took me this long to get my life back in some semblance of order to come back here the last week to by some games on Steams version of a garage sale and then to write this up for you all here.

Well to conclude, I hope you can find it in yourself to consider my apologies here and possibly accept them, maybe we can begin the discussion again and make some movements on the concepts of unfurling the proud and revered colors of the =SOC= clan of old. If not that maybe just starting a new group with the intention of squadding together in BF4 or even just hanging out once in awhile and organize some squadding in the game among fellow zealots. I'm definitely open to all possibilities, I'm interested to have a chance to reconnect with all my friends of old and the new ones that was cultivated just before my absence. Hoo-Rah...

It's a long drawn out soap opera of a story which i will save you from and not bother going into it. I should be able to get back on again regularly though. I see were up to 23 potential interested members. Awesome.

I have talked to BigRed recently ands he states interest in doing something as well. That brings it up to 24. I imagine if and when we do get up and running even more old members might mosey on in and consider joining too.

Now it's a matter of deciding I guess what sort of thing we want to do here. Do we try to recreate SOC again in all it's majesty as before or just start a new clan. We also need to decide how involved we all want to make this.

Do we set up a website and vent channel again like b4. Utilize xfire as well. Of Course BF4 will run through Origin but it's clan making capabilities has a lot to be desired u know. It would be hard I think to really have any kind of unit cohesion just in origin.

Do we just keep it simple then and organize/communicate through steam here like we are now. We can rejoin Angelus's =SOC= group here in steam because he never discontinued it from before. If Red is back onboard as well I guess they will lead us into a new Era.

If anyone has a chance, throw out your feelings, opinions, desires on how sophisticated you all want to make this. At the very least I personally want to be able to jump on my system and come to a central place where I can meet up with old and new friends that are as zealous about the BF games as I am, preferably BF4 for that's the big new one hitting soon and prefer to squad, voip, and pursue to work together for common achievements and entertainment.

Now does that mean we're married, tied at the hip. No Sir, hehe. Just feel this stuff is more fun playing with like minded battlelust addicted monkey on our back mates then roguing it or squading with strangers all the time thats all.
