English speaking players LAG-FREE GROUP DO NOT Invite laggers

This group was created to provide a list of North American DOW II players in order to:

- Reduce lag in public games caused by overseas players

- Provide Community Support for new and veteran English-speaking DOW II players

- Provide a list of lag-free players that share primetime gaming habits

RULES:

Theres only two so follow them

LAG
Manage your lag. If you are reported as consistantly lagging in community games you will be removed and banned from the group. If you are a good distance from the majority of our players there is problably nothing you can do.. this is the reasoning for creating a group for North American players.

INVITES
ANYONE MAY INVITE PLAYERS. Please only invite players that meet our criteria... No lag, english speaking. If you are found to be inviting players that do not meet the criteria, you will me removed and banned from the group.

Firstly, Welcome newcomers! Its great to see the group growing without me having to send the majority of the invites. :)

A few small changes, we're gonna dial it back a little bit while we grow and get some more volunteers for officers before we try to do anymore tournies. Annoucements are getting dialed back to once a month just because its less responsibility for me and theres not really much to announce each and every week.

As for game nights, rather than setting a specific day, we'll just have 8pm EST be the unofficial "meeting time" if you are looking for games come to the chat/invite others to your games or the chat.

For those who are interested I finally got my new machine built...

Asrock Extreme9 990FX 12+2 Mobo
16gb 2133mhz Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM
2x Radeon HD 7770 GHZ Edition
OCZ 256GB Solid State Drive
3x Asus 24" Widescreen 1ms response time LED Monitors

Also built a dedicated home server with the parts from my old build, and another htpc with a little SSD and the lenovo m58p shell and mobo. Add some new TVs for the bedroom, livingroom and bathroom, a WD Live Media box for streaming to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... and im drowing in technology.. just the way I like it :)

Hey guys!

Im sure youve noticed ive been absent for the last few days, and unfortunately it will probably be a few more days as Im building a new rig + server. The rest of the parts should be here tomorrow or tuesday so not much longer than that.

For the time being the first tourny will be canceled since we havent recieved nearly enough entries. Well try again as the group gets larger.

Im happy to see the group still growing without my presence. See you guys out there soon!
