Generation and transfer of player builds to the MineTrekker homeworld is almost complete.

Homeworld is our SE server/world file where players can store their builds in a non-pvp setting. This world file is backed up daily, and the map will not be reset... ever. Homeworld has NO procedural asteroids. Only 1 central asteroid, and those asteroids copied in with player builds as requested.

Finding and copying asteroids and player builds into a new world is a lot of work, but for now I am not charging for it. Maintaining the server expense 30 days from now however may require us to charge a very small fee for moves to help pay for the servers.

Initially, I had to take ownership of all med-bays to prevent everyone from being able to spawn in other player's bases. Once you log onto the homeworld for the first time, I will be able to transfer ownership of your med-bays so that you can re-claim ownership of your ships and platforms.
This is because transferring ownership using SE tools causes ownership reset unless player data is already present.... so once you are in, copying new ships into the homeworld will not have to go through the same process.

The MineTrekker - PVT world currently open on PingPerfect is our first iteration of an exploratory world... or "OffWorld". Once the weekend is over, I will be copying ships and stations from that world over to the homeworld.
To assist in this, please make sure your ships and stations have your player id at the beginning of the ship/station name (under info tab). If you find an asteroid there you would like to keep as a new homeworld base, put "Asteroid Base" in the platform description.

We will decide later what to do with the MineTrekker -PVT- world file next week.... just keep in mind that explore/pvp/experimental worlds ARE TEMPORARY. For now, let us focus on consolidating everthing we want to keep from backups and previous worlds onto our Homeworld.

You may invite trusted friends into our group if you know that they do not cheat, steal, or grief. If this priviledge causes us problems, I will change it.

If you find that I have not restored something you wanted to keep from a previoius world, just let me know... i'll see if I can find it. So far, I have focused only on those players that are currently active.
