As you are aware, 3 clans have dropped out of the league, affecting the league point statistics considerable. After much consideration, all clans that have played against clans that have left the league have lost their points gained from that particular match. This is the only way to ensure that the league stays balanced and that no clans have extra points as it gives an unfair advantage over other competitors.

What about Latency / Hosting ?

Based on geographical locations from both clans, a suitable host should be agreed on by both parties. We insist that a ping test is undertaken prior to the start of the match to ensure that ping is stable for the majority of the members. This can be done through a private match where all participants just connect to the host and wait for a few minutes to see if latency is suitable. If a suitable host cannot be found or agreed apon between both parties, the match will be postponed once an administrator has been notified, and a conclusion will found to fix the issue.

What about any interruptions during a match ?

E.G - Players DCing, needing to go (parents scolding etc)
This is a very complex issue, howver the only suitable way to handle this situation is simply to draw the round in which a player has dced from either party, patiently wait for the player to reconnect, and give the round win to either team, and simply deduct the rounds point at the end of the game. THIS IS WHY IT IS ESSENTIAL TO PUT ROUND LIMIT TO 12 SO THAT THE GAME CAN PLAY SMOOTHLY.

Players needing to go in game ?

That isn't something that the league can deal with accordinly, ensure that all members are aware of the situation and that you have potentail substitutions if the issue is to arise. If there are no substituions avaliable, you will just have to play at a disadvantage, such as 5v4.

Can anyone spectate the match apart from the participants ?

No, the only individuals that can be in a match at any given time are the participants from both teams, and an administrator or designated host if given one. This is to ensure fairness and is why it is essential to put a password on the game, if this rule is broken simply take a screenshot of someone joining the game, and it will be dealt with accordingling.

'Strikes', rule breaking in more detail !

Based on the seriousness of the situation, strikes will be given to clans based on the infringments that they are given. A strike system will be used, where each clan will be given a strike if any SMALL rules are broken, such as gun infringments, swearing etc. Once a team has 5 strikes they have points deducted accordingly. However, serious infringments, such as hacking, textures will result in an automatic ban from the league.

Game attitude !

When any match is being arranged and played, all members are expected to treat all participants with respect, meaning no offensive, direct swearing, racism and such will not be tollerated, strikes will be given accordingly. If you catch anyone breaking these rules, simply take a screenshot and provide the link to an administrator.

THE IMPORTANT OF SCREENSHOTS********************************

It is vital that you take screenshots of any infringments, such as weapon misuse, bad language, racism etc. This is the only way adequate evidence can be provided to administrators of the league, where the appropriate actions will be taken.
Screenshots must also be taken at the end of EVERY game and provided to an administrator as evidence of the match taking place and the final score in order for us to update the league table.

When will 'official matches' commence ?

- Official matches can be shecduled between clans starting from January 2012. onwards. These matches are not scheduled by the administrators of the league, but by the leaders of the clans themselves. This will involve the leaders contacting competing clans leaders to arrange a date for the match to commence, once a date has been finalised by both parties, the date CANNOT be changed, if so, the team that cannot attend will automatically forfeit. The date of the match must be told to an administrator.

How will the matches work ?

- Each 'match' will be a best of three series, where each team will chose a map that they want to play on, with the final map being randomised, if the series goes to a 1-1 situation. The matches must follow the official rules and regulations. Screenshots of the results of each 'game' must be taken and shown to an administrator to ensure the legitmacy of the matches, allowing us to update the official league tables.

What about cheating ?

- There is no sure way of identifying cheaters, but we will try our best to ensure that this league is the safest and fairest for all competitors. If any individuals suspect anyone of hacking, please contact an administrator where the appropriate measures will be taken. Any individuals or clans caught cheating in any way will be dealt with accoridngly, whether this will be a temporary suspension, reduction of points, automatic forfeit etc.

How will it be kept fair, won't clans just keep challenging others ?

- Once the officials matches can start to be scheduled from January 2012 onwards, records will be kept where clans are only allowed to challenge another clan once every week, this is to ensure that all clans play a similar number of games, which will keep the league competitive. We realise that it may come to a situation where half of the clans may of played a total of 10 games, where the remaining of the clans have only played 5 or so. If this is the case, the clans which have played 'more' matches will be temporarly frozen, meaning that they will not be allowed to challenge any clans 'officially' untill the remaining clans have caught up. This is to ensure fairness and maintain competitiveness for all participants.

Rule Breaking / Infringments, how will they be dealt with ?

- This is a hard question to answer, depending on the situation. If an incident were to occur where an individual of a competing team accidentally killed an opposing player with a banned weapon or equipment, the round is simply forfeited towards the team that broke the rule, meaning that team WILL have to forfeit that round, if not the match will be an automatic lost for that particular team.

But what if someone just lies just to get a free win ?

If this does happen ingame, the only way to prove that this really happened is a screenshot, which shows on the killfeed or so, this is also another reason why it may be important to have atleast one person on each team to be recording on theatre mode.

How will the point/ranking system work ?
A win will count as 3 points
A lost will count as 1 point

How long will the season be ?
The season will be between January 1st 2012 till August 2012.

How many players will be playing ?
All matches will be played as a 5v5 or 4v4

Can clans reject league matches from other teams?
Yes, but keep in mind that the more matches you play, the more points you get. Also, acknowlege the fact that you must challenge ALL the clans. You must challenge each clan atleast twice before challenging the same clan again. This will be kept track of, rule infringements will be dealt accordingly, such as suspension, deduction in points, forfeits etc.
