This is a Fencing Club for Dark Souls III

Rapier: "A lightweight thrusting sword used in noble duels employing refined techniques."

Unfortunately, in this game I have seen this beautiful weapon used for nothing but R1 spamming (which is not a refined technique). I would like to bring out the best of this weapon by hosting a harmless fencing club just for fun!

So to keep this in line with the sport of fencing, I need to enforce some rules. Keep in mind that because of the game's physics, I cannot make this a complete replication of the sport. However, with these rules in place I should be able to make it as enjoyable as possible.

Also, this is more like epee and not like foil, because enforcing right-of-way would take the fun out of it IMO. Even if you know nothing about fencing, please feel free to join! As long as you follow these rules I promise that it will be fun:

1: Both fencers MUST bow before a duel

2: You may only equip one (1) standard rapier
NOT Ricard's rapier, crystal rapier, estoc, or ANYTHING other than the "Rapier"

3: points are scored by drawing the opponent's blood (hitting them once) and after the first hit the players reset. I will point in the direction of the person who scores the point, and ring a chime over the winner. The duel ends once one player reaches 5 points. Then the winner will play against another opponent.

4: You can backstep and roll backwards/forwards to maintain your spacing (just make sure to remain within the boundaries)

5: You must stay within the prism stone boundary, and once you step out of either side, or the back, the opponent scores a point

6: you must stay locked-on to your opponent; fencers do not turn their back to their opponent

7: You can hold the rapier in either hand, but you cannot two-hand it. You cannot change the hand you are holding it in during the middle of the game also. I wish that there was a way that you could parry and also use the weapon arts with the rapier in one hand :(

8: You can only wear Lloyd's shield ring, the Chloranthy ring, Untrue Dark Ring, Farron Ring, and the Sun Princess Ring (you can wear rings that are purely aesthetic if you want to) but feel free to show off any fashion souls as far as armor goes!

9: No sprinting
