What is this?
This is the announcements page for the upcoming Imperator: Rome Community Multiplayer game!

What's the plan
The plan is for 20-30 of us to play a big ol' game of Imperator: Rome once per week for 4 hours, which I will stream and put on my youtube channel

What time/day of the week are we playing?
Every Sunday at 20:00 BST (British Summer Time)

What are the rules for the MP?
Right now, with us all being new to the game, there are no hard rules, though I will say a blanket ban on using exploits will ofc be in effect.

How will nations be picked?
All nations will be available to pick, with priority first going to Patrons, then to fellow youtubers/streamers, and finally decided by your rank in the discord (https://mee6.xyz/leaderboard/338715207247593472). Yes, this means that the more you interact on discord between now and when nations are picked (probably sometime around the 25th April) you will have a better chance of playing that country you really want!

What happens if I am unable to make a session
You can either get a replacement to stand in for you, or you can be protected for 1 session. If you miss 2 in a row, then the second time your nation is open to being attacked and annexed

What if my internet is garbage?
We will try to play at speed 3, with speed 2 whenever there is a large war. If you are unable to keep up with speed 2 and keep dropping us down to speed 1, for the benefit of the whole, I will have to kick you. Sorry :(

Where can we talk about the multiplayer?
The #imperator-mp channel is open for anyone with the @Imperator tag to chat about the MP!

How do I sign up?
Type "?rank imperator" to get the imperator role!
