Hey all,

The third group just packed up their bags and ended their session. This group unlike the other two decided scouting was a fools tool and ran head first into the unknown, not surprisingly they got ambushed by creatures in the trees. The battle took but a moment as the valiant hero's destroyed their opponents, with only one person being knocked out and almost everyone else having limbs hanging off and no spells remaining.

Unfazed by the lack of blood in their bodies and no remaining heals they decide to spend an hour resting just to patch the necessary wounds and to then continue deeper into the woods to track the creatures back to their lair.

While the dwarf napped the group spotted a small lizard like craturete sneaking up to the dwarf gripping a dagger, after a quick chat they realised this was a friendly creature who was after the same group as our adventures so they teamed up, suspicious but accepted KRAAAAAAAZY Karl became part of the group.

The group reached the lair of the beast and after quickly slaughtering the guards keeping watch they chased after the last guard who was running for backup, Karl lead the charge, fearless, brave and without equal this hero amongst men threw his net aiming to pin the running creature and secure safe passage into the cave. Sadly things never turn out as planned Karl was entangled in his own net stabbed several times by the enemy then dragged outside and dropped in a bush to "Sleep it off".

Jumping ahead the group slowly kept their way through the cave struggling at first until one of the halfling twins discovered with his duel swords that when he aimed for the shins he became an unstoppable killing machine. But what brought the group together at the end and ensured their victory was when the creatures kidnapped Karl (That the group had used as bait to ensure they could get a good night's sleep) when storming the bosses lair Karl awoke and aided in the slaughter of the big bad and the victory for the hero's, shortly after one of the group members made a swift escape, while the others looted the cave for mere copper she sold their wagon full of provisions for a tasty retirement fund.

This is just one possibility, what will you do?

Hey all,

We have finished the second session of D&D. This group had a similar start, most knew trouble was a foot the moment they started trying to scout the area for hidden enemies, unfortunately they just couldn't get eyes on the beasts so one of them decided it was safe to continue.... alone.

A few laughs and tears later they stood victorious over the ambushing enemies and argued if the goods they were transporting were worth delivering for the agreed price or maybe it was time to "lose" the goods at a different town.

Luckily the group came to reason and continued down the road a few days journey towards the town, on arrival the anti-social halfling got the idea he was the best one to negotiate a new price for their troubles. With some very bad persuading and even worse intimidation the young man felt sorry for the desperate group and added 2 gold more each. Unhappy with such a low amount the halfling decided he would go strike a deal with the local blacksmith and sell him some fine goblin weaponry. With some more terrible rolls he decided the best course of action was to simply walk out and pray at the temple of luck for a better chance at life.

The group learned of many troubling things going on around town, one of which payed very well, maybe too well. The group were divided over doing what was right or what was deadly, but with good profit. After some heated words the group decided to start small and return to the first ambush site to continue searching for their employer.

A few obvious trails and tracks lead the party to the beasts hideout, apon arrival while discussing the best course of action, arrows flew from the bushes and they began to fight for their lives. After a few quick heals and decent rolls, the foes were defeated and they continued deeper into the cave.

Jumping ahead after several close calls, a few near misses, a good night's sleep in goblin territory and I quote "Splinter Cell ♥♥♥♥" the party stood victorious.

I have 2 people interested in playing a D&D game, I need atleast 4 to do it so if you want to have a one off session to learn and experience the game let me know!

The game will be hosted at around 1700 BST (English time) and will last up to 5 hours with one or two breaks.
