Khan Academy was formerly known as "The Tunnel Snakes" but ran into licensing issues when releasing their third, self entitled, studio album. The name change came three days later.

At this current time, KhanAcademy's Counter-Strike - Global Offensive team roster consists of:

EDIT: FOLLOWING AR ECENT THROWING SCANDAL, SEVERAL KHAN ACADEMY MEMBERS WERE BANNED FROM ALL VALVE EVENTS AND AS SUCH HAVE BEEN REMOVE FROM THE TEAM



AFTER A LONG HIATUS FROM THE COUNTERSTRIKE SCENE, THE KHAN BOYS ARE BACK TO TAKE THE COUNTER STRIKE WORLD BY STORM. NO LONGER WILL WE FEED IN LEAGUE, WE SHALL CLIMB TO THE HIGHEST PEAKS OF COUNTER STRIKE GO (AS LONG AS CAMRON POTTER IS NOT QUEUED UP AS WELL).

Sing praise to the name counterstrike 2, from the highest mountaintop to the lowest river valley. Blessed are we who walk the path of cs, for Valve bestowed upon us a great bounty. Gloriously incandescent as it is, however, all is not perfect in the world. No longer can the members of Khan Academy proudly wear the name Khan on the scoreboards.
Valve has not yet deemed fit to return this feature unto the blessed wonderchild, cs2, but I pray we see relief soon from this suffering. Our recruitment efforts, which saw an explosive growth in 2023, have plummeted to levels not seen since the group's inception.
One day Gaben will right this wrong, and the Khan Academy legions will spread out across matchmaking like wildfire. But, until that day, we must continue on with determination and courage. I promise you all that there is a light at the end of this tunnel. Valve will not forget us. Khan will be back. We must be ready.
