We're not in danger, we're scientifically and logically the danger.

To save you some time: NO, Valve didn't just do something like five seconds ago. That said, I think you can probably tell what this is going to be about.


When it comes to my childhood, there's two games that I vividly remember me playing all the time: Team Fortress 2 and LEGO Star Wars. One of these games has characters from my childhood, and the other one is LEGO Star Wars.


When I was a wee little bastard, my dad got me into Team Fortress 2. Yes, I can remember when items weren't a thing, then when we got weapons they were all of vintage quality until more were released. Yes, I remember back when community servers were all we could play on. Yes, I remember when the Mann Co. Store became a thing. Yes, I remember the days of when it was like $24.99 and not free-to-play. Yes, I remember when we all got the Cheater's Lament hat for not idling- too bad I was a stupid kid and didn't know what the "Delete" button did... to everything in my inventory.

Yes, that's a true story and yes I still miss my @#%$ to this day.


But now I'm a grown adult, and it's sad to see the state of Team Fortress 2 where it is. I just got done writing an article for my school newspaper about #FixTF2 knowing full-well that not many people are going to read it, but I went through with it because these are desperate times to preserve something important in classic gaming culture.

This protest is more full-force than #SaveTF2 because apparently Valve didn't get what we meant by fixing the game. It deserves to be as well, because bots aren't just auto-sniping, they're doing all kinds of illegal sh**. A guy literally got SWATTED. Trust me, there's a lot of shady stuff going on and it's disgusting.

The protest is still going to this day even though it started a few weeks ago. And while I don't necessarily like the tactic of review-bombing the game because 1. It's Valve we're after and 2. It's hard to do that when you've played it for so long, I recognize how noble the intentions are behind it.

NOBODY should have to even protest because this should've never happened if the game got proper care like a real game should.
