Hey guys so I'm going to talk a little break from new features to add some polish and general bug fixing. So please try and break the game and tell me what you did to break it!

Hey guys! So a new testing update hasn't gone out in awhile. This is mostly because a lot of the recent changes were art (ALL of the HUDs have been improved), we have some new music and sound effects, and most of the old warping / changing star system interface has been ripped out and replaced with a cooler prettier version of it's self.

Moral of the story the first two changes didn't really merit updating the beta version and the last one broke sooo many things.

Basically, a big update to the beta version should be up, hopefully before Friday if you guys want to check that out :)

Other then that the full public update is coming out on the 25th, and the final version of the beta will be up the week before that. (18th)

Hey guys so I did some stuff you guys can mess around with. You can add custom parts to the game! Right click on Inevitability on steam and go to Local content and browse local files. There are two new folders Extra textures and parts.

There are XML Files in the parts folder they are essentially maps for the part data. I gave you an example of how the parts types work currently they are all there except weapons because they are a more complex right now!

Mess around make some parts have fun (I recommend using Notepad++) In the next couple days ill get the weapon XML working and get all of the base parts in this folder so you can mod those values as well!

Also the scanners work now if you guys have ideas on what other info they can display let me know (press O over a planet to scan it when you have a scanner on board)

I tweaked some more textures and made it so you ship slows down a bit when you are just drifting, it should be easier to fly without spamming shift.

Let me know what else you guys want and if you find anything wrong with the XML files!

Hey guys so I have the beta build up now. Not much different, there are some placeholder parts for new part types and stuff, and the planets are now x2 bigger.

ANYWAYS for the important part.
you can get it by right clicking Inevitability in your Steam Library -> betas tab -> click the drop down menu and pick testing - Beta Build and use the access code SpaceShipzRCool. You may have to restart Steam to get it to download the update but if you do it correctly when you start the game it should say 1.12.0.1B at the bottom right

On Friday I should have the new part types of Scanner, Lab and Covering working 100% and a bunch of parts that fit there. I'll post when that goes up.

On another note let me know if you have any friends that want to join the betag grop! The more the merrier :)

Hey guys so the next update for Inevitability is turning out to be a pretty big one. With workshop integration and such it would be a lot better to have more eyes on it than just me making sure everything is up to standards and also to help get some content on the workshop before launch! I'll post a thing on here later tonight (3/9/16) on how to get access to the latest build on Steam.
