The 3D Sherlock Holmes adventure game series is called "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes". The point-and-click adventures "Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of The Persian Carpet" and "Sherlock Holmes and The Hound of The Baskervilles" don't belong to that series. The series is being developed by Frogwares, a Ukrainian studio based in Kyiv. So far, there are 12 Sherlock Holmes games by Frogwares. The first publisher of the series was Wanadoo, which was renamed to Orange in 2006. With the original "Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened" they switched to Focus Home Interactive and with "Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter" to Bigben Interactive, which was later renamed to Nacon. Frogwares became an independent publisher in 2019.
