For you who just download it later after the 13 May 2021 Patch, when you click the game and nothing happen, i might have the fix for you (for me it works perfectly) Just download Physxloader.dll from here dll-files then extract it to your game folder. And don't forget to set the game compability to "WInXP Service pack 3" it should work normally now... enjoy...

Came back to this game after having it in my library for years, but when i get to the part where they go to switzerland it crashes, can anyone help

Did all the suggested fixes, when I try to open the game it asks me to make changes again, says preparing for the first time, then stops.

I did everything, I have all the items. I saved the hourse, I got to Davy, I passed the mosquitoes, I examined the blood and the rope at the pier. But when I try to leave it says I need to examine the place more. When I talk to Watson all he says "What do you make of this, Holmes?" and every time I try to interact with something Sherlock says "Everything in good time, first I need to find Watson."...

I am really interested in Lovecraft's stories at the moment, but I haven't read all of them. I would like to avoid spoilers for stories I have not read yet. Does this game spoil/take heavy inspiration from any of the books in particular?
