History

House Tarly of Horn Hill is a great house from the Reach and formerly, a powerful vassal house who swore fealty to House Tyrell of Highgarden. Their stronghold is a castle known as Horn Hill and the head of the house is the Lord of Horn Hill.

During Robert's Rebellion, Lord Randyll commanded the vanguard of the Reach at the Battle of Ashford, where he killed Lord Cafferen and forced Robert Baratheon to retreat. Randyll's liege, Lord Mace Tyrell, takes credit for the victory, however.
