Chernarus HC event: Sunday on the 6th of August, 2017, at 18:00 GMT / 21:00 Московское время / 1:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.

Purpose:

The purpose of this group is to support playing in the first-person perspective in Wasteland for Arma 3.

Keep an eye on the "Upcoming Events" section!

The HC Wasteland server is now doing quite well with population numbers, especially on the weekends, but we will also occasionally be scheduling a date and time to play on the server. That way players and groups from various time zones can use the best opportunity to play together, rather than leaving it to chance.

These scheduled games will occur on at least two Sundays each month. If you miss playing HC Wasteland and you would like to experience it again with other like-minded players, please consider joining us, and tell your friends! Multiple groups from around the world are involved, and each event conducted thus far has produced a high player count for several hours. Events / Announcements will be posted to establish the date and time we are aiming for, but it will usually be every other week. Playing on weekends in between scheduled games is also encouraged.

Why First-Person?

The First-Person perspective offers benefits for immersion, visuals, tactics (flanking, suppressive fire, etc), and gameplay balance. Put simply, without a floating camera to see around and over objects while hiding, players must use their character's eyes. First-person means if someone can see you, then you can see them.

Chernarus HC event today at 18:00 GMT

Hey everyone, I wanted to put out a reminder that we will have a Chernarus HC Wasteland event on the UK #2 HC first-person Wasteland server today in a little over one hour, at 18:00 GMT (UK) / 21:00 Московское время / 1:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.

There are many who have been waiting for more Chernarus first-person action; now we have our chance, but it will require a few people to make the first leap in joining the server for others to follow. I would encourage you all to get on right at the event time or earlier, regardless of how many people are on at that moment. Try for a reasonable amount of time and it should result in many others joining soon after. We have many people who plan on coming, including a streamer on Twitch and YouTube.

Chernarus Wasteland requires mods, but don't worry, they're easy to download and install! The mods can be obtained through the Steam Workshop here; click “Subscribe” and they’ll download and install automatically. If any issues are encountered, you can also try the official Sa-Matra launcher here[a3cdn.com] as an alternative.

So let's all return to Chernarus one more time! There truly is nothing quite like using your favorite RHS/HLC guns while battling enemies in its forests, or taking out a BMP-2 with a one-shot disposable AT launcher. So whether you’re a veteran of Chernarus HC Wasteland or someone who has not yet tried it in Arma 3, I hope you’ll join us for what is arguably the ultimate Wasteland experience.

Ya tenemos abierto el nuevo servidor de arma3 rol español que lo va petar en la comunidades, Lakeside modificado con edificios de no pixel, nuevos coches, robos y tiendas modificadas puedes entrar ya a jugar TS3: lakecity.3host.bid || SERVER CON WHITELIST ROL SERIO un saludo.

The HC server's map is now back on Malden.

I will tell them to switch the server back to Malden. The switch to Chernarus was only supposed to be temporary, lasting one day for the Chernarus event we did on the 6th of August, which several people were requesting for over a month (though very few actually showed up when it happened). I guess they kept the server on Chernarus past that to see if it would improve population numbers compared with Malden. I'll let you guys know what they say or when the server is switched back.
