Group Basics+How to Apply

This group is moreso dedicated to me and my friends, but we do accept outside applications. Send me a friend request and maybe we can sort something out.

The group itself is fairly simple. Advanced information will be discussed later, but for now, let's go over what is required.

You'll need Space Engineers, of course. Now, this is a group focused on millitary action. We will eventually have colonies in space, but for now, let's focus on one thing at a time.

Each member is given a callsign, which is your Steam username+ID.

The first 3 letters (or less, depending on your name) are the start of the callsign, the end is the 3 letters of your Steam ID. Refer to other players as their callsign. Before transmitting over Steam chat or in-game antennas, say your callsign.

---FORMATIONS

When flying an issued fighter or one allowed via special permission, you'll need to fly in formation if there's other players with you. This goes for patrols (See below), attacks, or travelling.

Formations:

"V" Formation[www.aerospaceweb.org]-As it sounds. Players fly in a V like form.
File Formation[s.oxonacf.org.uk]-Players fly in a single-file line.
Line Formation[blogs.militarytimes.com]-Players fly side-by-side.

Note that these are used both on foot and in flight.


Patrols:

Each player may be assigned a certain area to patrol, these are mainly around bases or com stations. Below, a directory listing each player's patrol route will be listed.
