We are Team GB. GB stands for Getting Better. This is a team with a very clear set of expectations and low fanfare. Our aim is to get better (and we plan to get better at our aim). Our goal will be to take both of our teams from their current ranks (currently Silver4 through GN3) to an average rank of MG1. When that happens we will reassess our new goals as a team.

The most important aspect of being on Team GB is the proper attitude. We are looking for people that want to play to their best ability (however poor that may be), and are interested in getting better. This requires humility, a willingness to follow instructions, and showing commitment to the team.

Here is what Team GB hopes to offer you:

Leaders that have a lot of game knowledge in regards to tactics, strategies, and tips to increase your play.

Structure for practices, matchmaking, and working together as a team.

A group of people that also want to improve, and are willing to be good teammates.

In turn, here is what Team GB asks of its members:

We ask that you give it your best during all practices and MM sessions.

We ask that you attend the scheduled practices to the best of your ability (it's OK to have a life, but please communicate if you can't attend).

We ask that you respect your fellow teammates.

If you are interested in joining, please respond in the #recruits channel with your IGN Name, Steam Profile, your current rank, your age, your region, how many hours per week you play CS:GO, and why you want to join the team.

*Note: At this time we will accept any age on the team providing that they can follow the rules. However, having bad experiences with younger players (<17), understand that we will be more critical of your behavior if you are below that age. That means you must work extra hard to undo the impressions of your peers.
