After some experimenting with dedicated servers in general, I decided to start a dedicated server running Garrysmod ! Fantastic, oh yes. I've got most of the things in place, but I could use some help here and there.

So, yeah, that's about it. If you have the time, check out the server (if it's up).

New server bootup! I am gonna rent an 18-slot 66tick server for £10/month to get the [GcA] up and running once again, please support me in this!

Atm, I have enough to run it for two months, so we will be fine for now, but I wouldn't mind donations! Server goes live 5:00 GMT +1(BST) Thursday 1st October 2009.

They are gone due to myself being to tired of maintaining them and me being way to tired of all the trying, failing and repairing etc. etc.

However, they will be back.
I and the crew are in desperate need of a break, but again we will return !

The rise and fall of the GcA below.

We started out with DarkRP. The gamemode was in the beginning solely enough to make servers "popular". But eventually, we of course had to add new ♥♥♥♥, which was fairly easy.
However, the simple new features got boring at the end - so we had to get more complex.
Throughout all the editing/customizing/tweaking etc. we had to try - fail, and of course repair.
This took a lot, and I mean A LOT of our time.

And the whole thing got really boring for all of us. So at the very end, we got stuck with a..
Rather unstable gamemode, with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of potential, but none with the will, time or/and interest of.. Ah, how do I put this.. None with the will of taking advantage of IT.
We had, and still have the not so extraordinary gamemode of ours in our posession but we can't really see how much further we can take it.
And since no one seemed to just enjoy what we had, and/or be at least pleased or interested in it, we again - gave up. Now.. Well, now we've (mostly I, really) given up. We tried to seek "help" in other gamemodes, such as Cider - TacoScript etc. but failed. I guess it all just got a bit too unstable at the end, and we don't know what to do with it. And people seem to hate DarkRP now anyways so I don't see the point of trying anymore.

My point being..

Our ♥♥♥♥. Isn't good enough, anymore.
