Our new Rust Server

After having a 7DaysToDie Server for a while, we decided to go for a Rust Server aswell.

Admins are Mars and Nuke(me).

Why a rust server?
- After having some bad experience(s) with admins abusing their servers, we decided to host one. If we can't play on a server without admin abuse, then we'll make a server without admin abuse.

We're open for suggestions, so if you think the server needs to have instant craft ( or not ) we can make a poll or vote. Or maybe explosives need to be super rare because you don't like the raiding part in Rust.

But i won't change Sleepers, they are and will stay turned ON. So called combat loggers are pretty active in Rust aswell, and sleepers are the best way to solve that.

After some incidents we setup some rules:
• No racism in chat or voice.
• Keep arguing in chat to a minimum.
• Hacking of any sort (i.e. aimbot, eps, dupe, godding, (gamma)glitching). (Instaban)
• Disrespect towards admins or other players.
• Swearing is OK as long as it is not excessive or directed towards someone.
• Harassing/Bullying is NOT allowed (Including Sexual).

Future of our Rust server.

Mars and me are still thinking off what to do with our Rust server, there has been some people creating a base and raiding others for a few days, there were around 15 players online at it's peak but dropped fast after a few days.

Browsing through all the servers and seeing so many empty servers leaves us with one conclusion: There are too many servers for the amount of active players in Rust at this moment. we still have a few weeks to decide if we want to continue with our Rust server or not.

The most likely thing that will happen:
We disable our server and wait until the dedicated files are being released so we can host our own server.

Why disabling it? some people like to play in low-populated servers.
That's true, but renting a server (like we do now) cost money each month and it's pretty expensive compared to hosting server by our own once we have the dedicated files.

Rust is a really promising game so far, i've been keeping an eye out on their website where you can follow their Friday-Dev blog, it's shows us information about what progress the developers of Rust made each week.

Join our army on www.gamesins.com, and keep in touch with others, we got a brand new website with a handy overview of our servers that were currently hosting. Minecraft will probably be online by tonight, were working on the CoD 4 server aswell.

The site is not only for the games that we're hosting, if you want to play League of Legends or whatever with someone, just post it in the forums.

Change of rules, MUST READ!

Almost anything goes in Rust. That is the concept of the game. We cannot be responsible for a "friend" betraying you or for someone raiding your base.
Glitching of the game/map is not allowed however any legally placed object or trap is acceptable.
We cannot give or replace supplies/loot lost for anything beyond our control. While we do our best to consistently back-up the server and map things can get lost or the map could get wiped. If you have a specific concern you may talk to Mars or me and we will deal with it on a case by case basis. We also ask that you try not to raid the same person over and over again in a short period of time it is a real bummer to have all of your stuff taken then you to be killed again five minutes later when you are just getting back on your feet. Though we will not punish for this (Unless it is excessive and obvious bullying) it is just not a nice thing to do and it takes away from the other players experience. You got their stuff once you dont need to rub it in again five minutes later. We also STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you help out not insta-kill new/naked players. Let them get on their feet a bit. People do not like a server where you spawn in for the first time and are instantly killed. Again this is just a recommendation.

A specific note on bullying/harassment: We want everyone to have fun on the server. Deliberate constant targeting of a player (Bullying/Harassment) is not allowed. Period. Raid people have fun but dont harass the same person over and over and over. This is not ok. It is ok if it is mutual. A specific example would be making a shack outside of someones front door and killing them when naked over and over again after you have already raided them. This is harassment.
