Grupo 9 da Guarda de Fronteira

GSG 9 der Bundespolizei (anteriormente era uma abreviatura em alemão para Grenzschutzgruppe 9, ou em português: (Grupo 9 da Guarda de Fronteira) é a unidade de resposta contraterrorista da Policia Federal Alemã (Bundespolizei), considerada uma das mais eficientes do mundo.

Depois da falha histórica da policia alemã que deu origem ao Massacre de Munique houve uma reforma na organização baseada nos modelos das forças operacionais especiais inglesas como o SAS, mas principalmente nas forças especiais israelenses - Sayeret Matkal no inicio - que originaram então o grupo, que seria designado para lidar com situações semelhantes, vindo a ser aos dias de hoje, uma das forças-tarefa policial mais eficiente e reconhecida do mundo.

A conexão criada nesse periodo de treinamentos com os israelenses foi tão forte que se mantém até os dias de hoje. Atualmente, por exemplo a Unidade Especial de Policia da Guarda de Fronteira Israelense - Yamam/Magav - uma unidade experiente que raramente treinam com unidades estrangeiras, mantém um estreito intercâmbio de treinamento com a GSG 9.


GSG 9 der Bundespolizei (formerly an abbreviation in German for Grenzschutzgruppe 9) is the counter-terrorist response unit of the German Federal Police (Bundespolizei), considered one of the most efficient in the world.

After the historic failure of the German police that gave rise to the Munich Massacre there was a reform in the organization based on the models of the special English operational forces like the SAS, but mainly in the Israeli special forces - Sayeret Matkal in the beginning - that originated then the group, that would be assigned to deal with similar situations, becoming to this day one of the most efficient and recognized police task force in the world.

The connection created in this period of training with the Israelis was so strong that it continues to this day. Currently, for example, the Israeli Border Guard Police Special Unit - Yamam / Magav - an experienced unit that rarely trains with foreign units, maintains a close exchange of training with GSG 9.
