Welcome to the Galactic Marines

As many of you may know, the battalion was gifted to a new up and comer, Spitfire. While this was not how I would have liked for this to have happened, I was removed from my position barely two weeks after being made CO. That aside, I would like to thank you personally for your service. When I joined the server, this battalion was, quite frankly, a mess. We had an incapable XO, and were in a major flux point for our COs. The CO at the time, Neuro, while being very capable, was(in my opinion) wrongfully banned after forcing out the aformentioned XO, an dthe battalion was handed over to the(at the time) Jedi Knight Nord, who stepped down immediately after making Hod Haran CO. Hod made me XO on Nord's reccomendation, and we set to work. We began recruiting all of you, and we created this steam group. We may not have managed to make the bettalion return to it's former glory, but we managed to restore some stability. Under Hod's leadership, the Galactic Marines were kept from becoming the dead battalion everyone thought it was. Now, both me and Hod Haran are gone from the battalion, and while I hope to rejoin you as one of your brothers at the first opportunity, I will likely not be in a leadership position. I would like to take this tiime to thank each and every one of you personally for your service in the battalion. While I have credited myself and Hod with the survival of the battalion, the real credit goes to you, the men of the 21st Nova Corps. Thank you for your service, and special credit goes to Tee Vertex. The two of you were there from the beginning of my time as an XO, until now. All of you were the reason the Marines are still alive, and the reason why I enjoyed my time as your officer. I expect each and every one of you to show the new CO, Spitfire, every bit of respect you showed to me, and I will be handing off this steam group to him at the first opportunity.
