Hey everybody!

Thanks for joining Gamer Galaxy's Steam Group! If you have no idea what Gamer Galaxy is - then let me explain: Gamer Galaxy is a IRC network that encourages mutual growth of its communities and offers benefits to all of its users and members. We are able to provide web hosting, game server hosting, voice server hosting and of course a great place to hang out when you are out of game. Anything that you need to help your community grow - we can provide. For more information on what we can offer join us on our IRC (http://www.gamergalaxy.net)

We have some huge plans for this steam group, and I hope all of you want to see the plans realized as much as I do. In the near future we plan to hold competitions, host ladders and many many more fun events across multiple games (we will select which games depending on what you guys are playing at the time). All of the events will have prizes that you will want to win (we will make sure there is something you want).

However, we cant do any of this if our steam community does not grow. So I ask you all this: Send invites to your friends, clan leaders, community leaders or anyone you think would benefit from what we can offer.

Competitions we plan on hosting:

1) Ladders in various games for both clans and individuals
2) Clan server dominance - the clan that can log the most man hours on a server in a set period of time wins the server
3) Clan Wars - clans fight for dominance to see who can hold a server the longest (holding clan controls the server)
4) Gamer Galaxy Growth - Anyone who can help grow Gamer Galaxy by expanding its IRC user base (bringing a new community?) will be very handsomly rewarded... its worth the effort for anyone.
5) Idle comepetitions on Gamer Galaxy - who ever idles the longest wins
