Morning lads
hope you're all well

For those unaware, we have created a discord channel to allow better communication (including voice), interactivity and its just a million times better than steam groups.

you can download the discord program, run it in a web browser and it has a phone app too.

5 members currently using it and we've started a network save among the group too.

So come join, invite your aus/nz mates who play FM and lets get this community buzzing.

Viney and I have started an online save and you're welcome to join.

No scheduled days/times for games just yet, we'll implement that as more members join and it becomes necessary.

Add me in steam if you want to join and we'll get you loaded up.

Game Details:
Name: ANZFM
Password: Supplied when you're joining

Database:
England - down to Vanarama N/S
All players loaded from UK & Ireland

Chuck - Hungerford
Viney - Dulwich Hamlet

Starting in either Vanarama N/S we'll progress our way to the top.
We'll use this page to post updates as we go and hopefully grow this into a long save with a decent playing group.

Initially, no automatic continue timers, or limitations to friendlies and press conference etc.
as we get more members this may be something to implement.

Recommendations to help game run speeds:
select 'use caching to decrease page loading times' in preferences.
Let ass man take friendlies and press conferences.
Matches detail max of extended highlights.

Things to expect:
If you've not played online before, the only thing you need to expect is load times between pages will be slightly increased. So patience is necessary.
This obviously makes pre-season the lengthiest part of the game, but once season begins you'll find processing speed pretty normal.

Discussion:
While steam group and chat is ok for now, it's the the best and has limitations.
I would recommend Discord, i've created a server for it. https://discord.gg/4GDUYx
it will be a far better way to communicate within the group.
