An Alliance for the Future!

The year 2473 - Operation Phoenix was deployed on its search for a new home for humanity: Empyrion. As each ship activated their hyperdrive and departed the Sol System for the "Land of Plenty" indicated by the alien star charts, humanity's hope flew with them. Unfortunately, that hope would fail, or at least not be fulfilled in the way they intended.

Whether the result of a flaw in the reverse-engineering of the alien technology or a lack of understanding how to properly control it, the fleet of Operation Phoenix was lost.

In Alliance records there were only two ships known to have arrived in the Andromeda Galaxy: The MS Titan and the MS Belenos.

The Titan came out of hyper-travel in violent distress and fell into the atmosphere of the planet Akua. Its survivors evacuated aboard escape pods to the planet surface. The Belenos came out of hyper-travel with the majority of its systems overloaded and heavily damaged. It took 3 weeks of repairs to get her flight ready, and another 4 of exploratory flight before establishing long-range communocations with the crew of the Titan on Akua.

Once reunited the two crews took role. All persons accounted for, the human population in this sector totalled 104. The senior officers and key personnel from both ships formed a new Elisium Council of Humanity (named for the quadrant of Andromeda they now inhabited) and established a colony on Akua. From this colony, which was named New Haven, the ECH would go on to form a new government with a purposeful collection of core values. The values of maintaining harmony with indigenous species and ecosystems, minimizing resource use and environmental impact, and achieving the "Land of Plenty" Operation Phoenix was intended for, either through exploration or by building it themselves.

By the year 2477 the ECH had established positive diplomatic relationships with several native species of the Elisium Quadrant including the Polaris, Garnoxians, and tentatively the Talon. Through the united efforts of the ECH and these races the Empyrion Alliance was formed; a union of all beings who would join for the mutual benefit of all worlds. Along with few civilian governing branches, a new military and exploratory organization named the Star Corps was instated. The Star Corps was able to salvage and rebuild the Titan to its former glory. Now redesignated to the E.A.S. Titan, she is the flagship of the E.A. fleet which consists of her, the Belenos, and the newly constructed Pathfinder.

As the EA and Star Corps worked to establish humanity's new home they faced the looming threat of the Zirax Empire. The Empire's aim is nothing less than conquering all of the known universe.

The current year is 2478 and the E.A.S. Pathfinder is being sent out on a mission of exploration of the uncharted sectors of Andromeda.
