Solo Training! Practice these areas to improve your game and hurl yourself up the ranks!

*Nades:
-Set nades (Download Workshop maps)
-Counter nades, Pre-nades, Pop flashes, Fake flashes/Decoys (Practice in Casual mode or on Community maps)
-Support nades (This can be done with a friend anytime, or during team prac)

*Aim Training:
-Death match is a great place to start. It will increase the amount of people you can kill within a certain amount of time, greatly improve your accuracy, help you pull off those fully sick flicks and at the same time will allow you to grasp a firm understanding of a specific maps elements. Eg. corners, angles, camping positions(#facepalm) etc, etc.
-Recoil/Spray patterns (DL Workshop maps)
-Side-step shooting/Pre-firing (Practice on a friend/bots on an empty server or join the community on DM, Casual or competitive)
-AWPing/Rifling (DL Workshop maps) A personal preference as to which you will do most, so i’ll say work on your strengths, but work harder on your weaknesses. Being a better all-round player will help you, your team-mates and in-turn your rank. (Eg. I was a rifler (AK), but after only a couple of days of sniping with the AWP on deathmatch and casual, I picked up my first ace on MM as a MGE. I can say with confidence that one round helped us win the game and that one game went towards my rank up, it all helps!)

*Fake/Faking:(This will be covered in greater detail in Team Prac)
-Defuse/Plant
-Rotates
-Plays(when you make a move onto a site)
(Practice in Casual mode, on Community maps or Privately with friends)

*Map knowledge (Familiarise yourself with the active duty maps, especially the ones you don’t like/never play. This will benefit you for obvious reasons..)

*WATCH! Watching matches is an EXCELLENT way to learn.
Think about it this way.. If you finished year 7, then rocked up at highschool only to find the year 8,9,10,11, and 12 teachers were all as dumb as the fat ♥♥♥♥♥ from year 7, HOW WOULD YOU LEARN ANYTHING NEW?!?! Because of the way Match Making groups people of the same or similar ranks together, the same issue occurs. I’ve often heard friends complaining of being “stuck” at a certain rank, so my advice, watching anything from pro matches on Twitch, (which you can easily find the schedule on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.com), to the not so pro in the watch menu at csgo start up, may help you to overcome this hurdle. As opposed to simply playing with friends who are higher ranked where you will need to concentrate on playing and trying to learn from them at the same time, watching eliminates those distractions and allows you to take in a lot more information at any one time.

Solo training and these points within should be practiced as often as possible. If you are determined to get good and STAY good, it is imperative you make it a routine. ESPECIALLY when it comes to aim, muscle memory is something you lose over time, so stay on top of it, keep those pin-point micro-corrections and flick shots flowing!

Also, try to concentrate on one thing at a time, once you feel you have made a real improvement in one area, move onto the next. DON’T RUSH IT and try to shove everything into your brain at once, you probably won’t remember half of it tomorrow anyway. Unless you’re a robot with a photographic memory then go for it!

NOTE: There are many a tutorial on ‘how to’ with all of the above, so i suggest resourcing a few before trying anything out yourself. This will help to avoid teaching yourself bad habbits that will later prove hard to shake, as well as help you understand what you’re doing, how to do it properly and why you’re doing it. (WarOwl is a YouTube’er who specialises in CSGO and is a great source of info for me personally, i HIGHLY suggest checking him out!!!)

We have 10 TeamSpeak (TS) slots available that at this point are being underused. By the end of this week I want you to invite 2 people each to join us on TS. It doesn’t matter if they don’t play counter-strike or even if they hate it. We are looking to expand our community to awesome people that enjoy playing games.
I am looking forward to the days when I am unable to access the TS server because they are full. When BendY is asking me to buy another 10 slots. Let us do all we can this week to reach out to the good people of our friends list and invite them to participate in something special.

G'day lad's!!

Raydos here with a message to all those interested in improving and getting serious when it comes to CSGO!

I have recently been informed that SBI is in the works of branching out and growing as a gaming community. Because of this, new opportunities have arrisen for SBI members ONLY, to become apart of a select group of individuals that will play GO on a serious level. #Road to GE and then some!

But for now it's baby steps, so primarily our aim is to form a few teams that we can invest time and money into, with the prospect of sponsorship and later being able to attend Australian competitions in the "big leagues".

Being apart of this new endevour will proove a great chance to "go pro" for those who, not only play Counter-Strike several times per week, but also strive to endlessly improve their skills.

Now before I go on let me say this, those who aren't willing to constantly put in the time and effort required, need not apply. This will be no walk in the park, it will be a long term commitment. There will be a list of criteria for the SBI members who are selected for these positions. This will need to be addressed before your place within the team is finalised. It is recommended you seriously consider whether or not they apply to you BEFORE any commitment is made on either end.

-People who have received VAC bans need not apply!
-People under the age of 15 need not apply!
-People with a constant ping over 90 need not apply!
-People that can't spare at least 1-2hrs, at least 3-4 times per week need not apply!


PLZ consider a few questions as we will need this information later:

-How old are you? Where do you reside??

-How much time do you spend playing counterstrike? How many hours have you played in the past two weeks and what are your total number of hours??

-Can and are you willing to dedicate a specific amount of time, on specific days, each and every week with-out fail? If so what are your preferred days and time periods you would like to be online??

-What positions/player roles are you most comfortable/perform well in? For example are you an entry fragger, a support player, awper, lurker, or a combination/all-rounder??

-What are your strengths and weaknesses? What rank are you currently??

-Which maps do you feel comfortable on? Which maps don't you feel comfortable on??

-What are your goals? Is there anything else you'd like us to know??

Everything is coming together what we need now is some really decent content. We have a number of great ideas for content from;

- Syro & Bendy doing MineCraft
- DakNation & Salting hitting it off in FIFA
- Raydos doing some traing videos
- The team playing some Rocket League together.

Guys in 3 days I want enough content to go into a Complilation video called the best of July. Lets work hard to get this stuff uploaded to play.tv or equivilant.
