A group for true fans of the new Doom who love the game as it is and don't require a carbon copy of a game made in 1993 in order to have fun. Come share your love for this amazing new continuation of the Doom franchise, find new friends to it play with, share your snapmap creations, and more!

Rules & Guidelines:

1.) This page primarily celebrates the new Doom game. Therefore, we want to keep negative opinions about the game’s unchangeable elements such as loadouts, movement speed, weapon wheel, art design, monster design, soundtrack, armor permutations, armor colors, or anything else to a bare minimum. Please refrain from posting that here. If flaming arguments are caused because of the sharing of a negative opinion about the new Doom, we will have to consider action against you. Repeated offences could end up getting you banned. This game has a right to be itself, and if we are to try to compare it to the game made in 1993, then we are not allowing this game to be itself.

2.) Don’t compare the new Doom to older titles in the franchise, or to other games in general in a negative way. For example, don’t say, “I wish this game didn’t have loadouts like the original Doom”, or, “This game plays like COD”, or, “This game plays like Halo”.

3.) No flaming other members in general. If someone posts something that is unfavorable to you, state your opinion in a civilized way. Calling someone names will result in action by the mods in some fashion depending on the particular situation at hand. Repeated offences could end up getting you banned.

4.) We want to prevent people from having the campaign spoiled for them. If you are going to make a post that reveals story elements, be sure to place a large, easily viewable “*****SPOILER ALERT*****” sign at the top of the post, followed by a large white space between the alert and the post. This includes anything related to the campaign revealed by data miners. If your post does not contain the spoiler warning, your post will be deleted without warning. This spoiler alert warning requirement will be in effect until June 13th. We are all going to be excited to discuss the campaign together, which is perfectly fine. But we want to respect those who haven't beaten it yet by placing the spoiler warning before discussions.

5.) Advertising for other groups will be allowed only once. This is simply to keep spam to a minimum. If you advertise for your group repeatedly, we will have to consider taking action.
