The game is certified Not Dumb™, managing to elicit the rare and fleeting emotion of "fun" in the player (= the game is good).

The game either:
‣ is not a bad game, but is repetitive, unnecessarily difficult, or just plain unoriginal;
‣ is under Steam's Early Access program; or
‣ didn't work (for me).
...or I just haven't played it enough to give a proper judgement.

The game either:
‣ doesn't work <properly / anymore / at all>;
‣ has controls which are so bad it might as well not work; or
‣ managed to capture my interest to the point where I played it, only to discover it fell into the "unwelcome" category below.

‣ "Realism"-focused FPSs that bring nothing new to the genre beyond slightly better graphics.
‣ Games under Steam's "Early Access" program*.
‣ Ports of games from older consoles that don't offer any improvements over emulation (besides performance).
‣ DLC DLC. Standalone additional content may be considered e.g. HL2EP1.
‣ Games that don't actually work as intended (single exception: Skyrim).
‣ Games that don't run on Linux†.
‣ Match-3 games. Just stop already.
‣ Games with microtransactions. This is not iOS' App Store, and the Steam community are not mobile gamers.
‣ Minecraft or Terraria/Starbound clones.
