Well, I'm a regular visitor here, but CoSySox has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers were coming here as early as the late 1600s to trade with the sexy Soxers.

CoSySox. It's sox and sucks. In French, it would be called "la renarde" and it would be hunted with only its cunning to protect it.

So what now again Chaynes, any new stuff on sox you want to share? Well not really but as time goes by, sometimes it is about time to be about time.

Chaynes! Listen, we need to have a talk about smokers. The fact is he's the sponsor and you signed a contract guaranteeing him certain concessions, one of them being a slot on the server.

Yeah well, he has his slot on the server someone send him some crypto so he can sponsor even more.

This is all wrong. I shouldn't be up administering here. I should be back in bed or on the other side of the couch. Yet you all come to CosySox for hope. How dare you!

"Vanilla servers have stolen your dreams and your childhood with their empty lobbies. And yet I'm one of the lucky ones. Servers are suffering. Servers are dying. Entire serverfarms are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal player base growth. How dare you!

In this years holiday season we are presenting a new way with messing with tanks, we are not accepting a 50% chance for early tanks, we want something new, something below the 1,5 percent goal we have.

CosySox has a love for special infected, a particular great love for tanks. That is why special infected are way overpowered, way WAY overpowered.

So now after all the attempts with roofs and convar dictatorship and anti haxor stuff, altered ways, blocks and all the stuff you hate and I like, we finally try to improve the replayability of the maps by changing tanks spawn flow.

As of today, these are the final settings for tanks.

versus_boss_flow_min_intro 0.10
versus_boss_flow_max_intro 0.9
versus_boss_flow_min_finale 0.6
versus_boss_flow_max_finale 0.7
versus_boss_flow_min 0.10
versus_boss_flow_max 0.9

Great, isn't it? Ok, maybe it needs a clarification.

Tanks will spawn in first maps between 10% and 90% of the ways, this will change the almost 100% early tanks to a more charming character, some more reason to fight them somewhere else maybe.

Tanks will spawn on finale maps between 60% to 70% of the way, I would have loved to change it to 70%-90% but the final map of Dead Air glitched out not spawning a tank at all.

Tanks will spawn on all middle maps an 10% to 90% of the way, this will probably make it more interesting for middle part maps. At least that is the intention.

While we are aware that this change will scare some people off, we still do it, because that is how dictatorship works.

Have fun this holiday season and I hope we won't see us all at our already canceled anual 2024 CoSySoX LAN party in Berlin! It is our 15 years server birthday so don't expect something great!
