ABOUT Civ5 No Quitters No Mod

Group designed for Civ 5 players who do not quit and do not like or can not use the NQ Mod.

Rule List:

1) Any Civ can be choosen. Duplicates also allowed.

2) No attacking City States and making peace every turn to capture them. Same for using City States for experience or pillaging tiles for gold. Stealing workers and making peace is allowed. If you want to capture a City State or use it for experience or pillaging, you must stay at war or truly make peace and leave the City State alone.

3) No complaining about other peoples turns. There is a turn timer for a reason. If you want to play a game at your pace that is what single player is for.

4) Players are not allowed to abuse rule 3 to make surprise attacks on other players at turn end or to annoy other players. Using the whole time to move units is allowed; you know if you are abusing it.

5) No chatting if you cannot finish your turns in a timely manner. Finish your turn first and then type in the chat, unless you are waiting on a response for a move or deal.

6) In team games, where a human player has dropped, making peace with the human players remaining AI team mate is not allowed.

7) If a player drops (not quit) or has their computer crash. The host must attempt to invite the player back into the game. If the player has quit, and this can be verified, please report the player to a moderator for review and removal from the group.

8) If the game freezes, the host must save the game, and all players must rejoin in lobby to reload. A game cannot be scrapped unless all players agree the game is over or cannot be reloaded. After the game is reloaded, usually a player must hot join (HJ): Drop out and rejoin to bring it back in action. Host usually is not able to move until this happens so have a designated hot joiner assigned before loading to better facilitate the progession of the game. No moving is allowed until all players are back in game and all can move.

9) There is an understanding that Civ5 multiplayer is buggy, so do not assume that just because a player leaves that they quit. Everyone knows they have been in games where Steam or Civ simply crashes.

10) A player may leave the game if they lose their capital city and do not wish to continue playing. Also if ALL other players in the game agree that the player is not relevant to the game resolution.

11) Feel free to make up your own in game rules, so long as everyone in the lobby agrees to them pregame and that they are all clearly expressed and understood by all players before starting.

I can set something like that up, but doesn't steam have built in individual and group voice chat already?
