Hi all,

The server is up for renewal now but unfortunately I am not in a position to cover the costs myself, and as a result it seems it's time for the end of the jumping server.

What I am in the process of doing is trying to download all the plugins that were used on the server, along with the config files for them. If I can do this, and anyone wants to start a jumping server similar to how this one was run, then get in touch with me and I can hit you up with the plugins to get the ball rolling.

Update: Have managed to successfully get in to download all the relevant files from the server (excluding maps, these are available from the jump.tf spreadsheet). If anyone would like these to start a server with, give me a shout.

Thanks Mac for setting up a discord server! Come chat, hang out, and say hi to us and the other people on the server. It'll also be a handy way of talking to admins that aren't online.

That's something that's been looked into in the past but nothing has come up yet. Will keep trying to find a solution though, because you're right, some of them are pretty dark.

Is there any way to make mat_fullbright work without allowing any other cheat cvars? Some maps are really dark, and it solves that.

It's a possibility, although it's not so likely, as pyro jumping for example doesn't often work too well on a server. Also it's running costs too unfortunately.

Cat is it maybe an idea to have a server where you can learn all kinds of jumping (like beggar's jumping, pyro rocket jumping, detonator jumping, sticky jumping, loose cannon jumping, quick-fix jumping etc.)
