CS:GO Tournament

Welcome! This is the official group for the 2v2 CS:GO Tournament. It's completely FREE to join and play! In order to join, you must add either Dunn (with a blue avatar) or IAreHelen. You need to have a partner and have access to CS:GO. There will be a teamspeak provided if you would like. The game is hosted on a private CS:GO server. The game will be streamed live on this channel; twitch.tv/iarehelen. We do, however have some rules.

RULES:

1. No hacking. This is a given to ANY game played.
2. No poor sportsmanship. Any form of poor sportsmanship will result in you getting kicked out of the tournament (i.e. You suck! or What a fag!)
3. No cheating. This is also a given to ANY game played. It also ruins the gaming experience for others.
4. You aren't allowed to leave halfway through the game. If you do so, it is considered a forfeit and you'll lose automatically.

Rules may be subject to change either through adding or taking some out.

Tournament Info:

The tournament will have an upper bracket and a lower bracket. Everybody starts in the upper bracket, when a team loses they get sent to the lower bracket and continue from there, if they lose in the lower bracket they are out of the tournament. At the end, the upper bracket finalist faces the lower bracket finalist in a best of 3, with the upper bracket finalist having a 1 map advantage. This is completely competitive meaning there are 30 rounds and you will switch after 15. The date will be posted in further notices. There is no set date yet.

Game Info:

The map pool consists of Dust 2, Inferno, Nuke, Mirage, and Cache, and will be decided by map elimination.

The team on top will first ban 1 map, the team on the bottom will then ban 2 maps, followed by the team on top banning the last map, and deciding which map gets played.

The game will begin with a knife round to select sides, the server will be restarted after the knife round once everyone is on the correct side.

In the case of a 15-15 ending, the game will go into overtime, which is a best of 6, both teams having 3 rounds on each side.
