As many of you have probably seen, the base decay timer is quite generous with allowed time before decay happens.

This is intended for server regulars to be able to go on vacation without worrying that they will come home to see their creations gone.

The drawback of a generous decay timer is that a lot of the abandoned box and rectangle buildings, half finished ruins, or randomly placed crafting stations littering the world also remain for a long long time.


To counteract the worst ruin build-up, I will be patrolling the map now and then, cleaning up the worst things, even if your full 360 hours have not passed. An unimaginative box building or randomly placed crafting station/fireplace with less than 50 hours remaining in the world will get removed.


If such removal results in resources/items, I'll save them up as rewards in preparation for the upcoming events that will come for the server once Funcom fix a couple of broken items.
