Rogue Spear Legends Just Trying to Survive....

The Bates Brothers stem back to the earlier days of FPS's. Back when classics such as Delta Force and Tom Clancy's Rogue Spear took center stage among the, just burgening scene, of tactical shooters. Back before technology helped players do what came natural to us.....kill with uncanny skill.

Once the most feared and hated kings of FPS's. Junky and Spaz Bates have now relegated their position of "FPS KING" to a humble "LEGENDARY!!!" status.

Hoping to find his brother Junky: Spaz wanders the wastelands of Cherno alone....surviving as a LoneWolfe.

Junky is Gone.....

I'm not sure why, after such a long time, I'm writing this post. Perhaps it's just another attempt to keep Junky's memory going.

My brother Junky died his final death on January 7, 2022 at the age of 52. The game isn't close to the same without him; However, I continue roaming the wastelands of DayZ until the day I join him.

If anyone would care to watch any remembrance videos I have let me know I'll get the links to you.

The .61 Comeback!

After a looooong haitus from DayZ, the Bates Brothers are back to scouring the landscape of DayZ for food, ammo and the crumbs of brutal excitement that only DayZ can offer.

So far we've managed to plunder our way to success! With an unprecedented empire of campsites around the DayZ world.

The fact is, there are A LOT of people out there using tents, especially military tents, which increases the risk of having our campsites discovered, much the same way we've discovered other peoples.

With that said, we've had to adjust our protection strategies and prepare ourselves for the worst (being found).

For the most part, .61 has been a pleasant re-entry into our beloved world and we look forward to whatever the unknown brings.

Just don't get sick. And if you do....prepare your f11 key for use.
