Binance Chain is a blockchain for smart contracts and decentralized applications. Its native token, BNB, was founded by Changpen Zhao (CZ) in 2017 and was originally on Ethereum. It later migrated to the Binance Chain, which was launched in 2020. BNB is used for discounted fees on the Binance exchange.
