That's right! Regardless about how you feel about the launch of BB3, we are dipping our toes before we jump in. We have started an open ladder competition for everyone to test out the online play. If you have your copy of BB3 ready to go, jump in game and look up the BBLANZ BETA league. The open ladder is free for entry with no restriction, so please use it at your leisure.

The purpose of all this is so we get a decent picture of how the game play and features play out. So feel free to jump onto the BBLANZ Discord channel to comment and discuss the game in general. Every little bit will help before we start to create some official competitions.

It was a long competition and bled into the following year, yet we have finally wrapped things up. We had seen over 30 coaches pick new teams to represent their location within the Australasia/Asia region. And as tough has the group stage was, it all culminated in an epic top 16 knockout where only one was crowned the winners!

Massive congratulations to Djoolyurn and his Human team, The Padang Pirates. Fantastic performance after such a long journey! That is a total of 18 trophies on the BBLANZ Rankings, awesome stuff!

Shout out to both JamesDSF and Maron for taking home the 2nd and 3rd place prize, terrific effort toward the end. And thank you to everyone else for a great competition! It'll be up in the air what happens with 2023's AA Cup, but it's sure to be as fun as always.

The 5th season of the Alpha League was slightly smaller than the previous seasons, but was not without fun. Everyone put in a great effort with veteran teams dominating Division One and fresh teams surprising us in Division Zulu.

First up, big congrats to Olgrot and the Altdorf Irregulars for taking home the Zulu champion title. Great effort as a new team on the scene with an undefeated record of 6-1-0. Will be good to see how they measure up to the big dogs in Div One next season.

And of course, massive congratulations to Lokistar and the monstrous Geek Gods for walking away champions a second time in a row. It all came down to a winner takes all final match, but the Geek Gods were just too much with the amount of ST that was on the field.

Thank you everyone for another great season! The Post-season draft is now open for all coaches that wish to drop some dead weight. And all tickets have been sent out to the top 4 teams of each division for the Alpha Cup V!

Another season of the Orcs only comp has passed and afterwards all eyes were on the GnM Mashup tournament.

Big congratulations to GreySquirrel and The Gouged Orbital Socket for retaining their trophy a second time in a row. They played two epically close games, so the trophy is more than deserved.

We have finally arrived at the biggest Blood Bowl event for 2023! 24 teams, 24 races, all pitted against each other to see who is the superior race in the Blood Bowl universe. But more importantly, within the BBLANZ community!

This is the competition that most members of the BBLANZ league hold out for throughout the year as it pits the best coaches against the best teams in the league. And yes, this epic journey does not come without reward as there is another massive prize pool up for grabs of $200AUD spread across the top 6 players of the competition.

All are welcome, new and old comers a like! But be warned. This is the most brutal of comps in all the league and rest assured that every race will be out for blood regardless of their status. Also, keep in mind, the positions are first come first serve. So get in quick if you want to secure your preferred race!

The previous champions have the option to retain their position in order to defend their title. Last year we had seen Dwaven glory dominate the finals. So we wait for Chubberson and his Dwarf warriors, Gene Therapy to step back up to defend the title. However, as brutal as those dwarfs are, the ELITE trophy could be held by anyone!
