For the sixth time in a year, and of that in the history of our empire, His Imperial & Royal Apostolic Majesty, the young Emperor, Franz Josef I, has appointed a Minister-President. The Minister-President is the guardian and overseer of the Imperial Government made up of squabbling ministers and stoic aristocrats, whom is trusted to run the very same government efficiently and effectively for the Emperor, and therefore the people of the Empire. The position was founded in the aftermath of last year’s revolutions across Europe. The common folk temporarily broke their chains and demanded that the government become less centralized on the Emperor. In response, His Late Imperial Majesty, Ferdinand I, created the Imperial Government. The Government looks after the individual affairs of governance on behalf of the Emperor, therefore spreading power throughout different individuals, instead of investing it in a single individual in such an archaic fashion.

In this year of 1849, the Emperor, in his most righteous and glorious wisdom for such a young age, has appointed the Prinz zu Windisch-Graetz. Johannes, the Prinz mentioned before, is a brilliant politician and tactician, and a veteran of both the war front and the courts of Vienna and Budapest. It is of no doubt he will have the government running at peak efficiency. Indivisibiliter ec Inseparabiliter!
