AusNZ Simracing - We are Raceroom Down-under!

AusNZ Simracing is a small but dedicated group of like-minded simracers from the down-under lands of Australia and New Zealand!

We cater for Simracers of KW Studio's Raceroom Racing Experience, hosting Weekly Events and League Series. One of our main goals at AusNZ is to expand the player-base of Raceroom within the region, with the intent to further the profile of this under-rated sim.

Our events are mostly "turn up and race" on a casual basis, although for the slightly more serious racers out there we also offer League or series events throughout the year. Most racers will be able to find a clean and fair battle on the track that suits their ability....and oh, of course it wouldn't be Trans-Tasman without plenty of Aussie and Kiwi "banter" as well.

We Invite and welcome drivers of all abilities to our group - if you've got Raceroom and are looking for some local competition - AusNZ Simracing is for you!

.....and other guys/gals too!

At AusNZ we are all about trying to get Australian and New Zealand based simracers involved in the much under-rated Raceroom....

With that in mind we are looking at the possibility of hosting some "Starter Pack Saturday or Sunday"events in the future. These are purely a turn up n race if you want to type event to introduce new members to AusNZ Simracing and Raceroom as well.

We are aware that new players might not want to shell out a small fortune (albeit very worth it!) for the entire Raceroom content straight out of the blocks, but by purchasing the Starter Pack you can cover most categories within the game and get the feel for the sim to see if its something you wish to invest more into.

We aim to take a car and track combo from the Starter Pack (and maybe a dottering of the Free content too) and host some quickfire, plug n play race-nights (of maybe 2 x 15 minute races) that would be over in approx an hour.

I have just set up a quick poll over on the official AusNZ Simracing Discord channel to guage interest for this - if its something you might be keen in head on over and have your say....Starter Pack Poll[discordapp.com]

Everyone is welcome to be a part of this (so dust off your iRacing/Gran Turismo etc. etc. mate and tell them to get involved too!) - youll just need at the very least the Raceroom Starter Pack

[Raceroom] Friday Series Takes A Little Break......

....BUT, its only for one week as AusNZ's resident alien - Brodie Steen has put together a special Friday Night Enduro.

Replicating the Bathurst 1000's of the late 1990's racers are asked to select their favourite Supertourer for a challenging 40 lap attack on Mount Panorama, or Bathurst as it's probably better known.

This track holds a special place within the AusNZ Raceroom community - as sadly it is the only local track in the game for the group...once again we will witness the iconic sounds of BMW, Volvo, Honda and Audi as racers throw their cars through well known and challenging corners such as "The Cutting" "Skyline" and "The Chase" only to get a slight reprieve down the long dragstrip like "Conrod Straight" - all in the quest to become the "King of the Mountain" around the world famous 6.24km circuit.

All this action is just two weeks away on Friday April 25 and registrations are open now in the AusNZ Raceapp AusNZ Simracing Bathurst 250 registration[raceapp.eu]
