Become a Delta today

Hey Guys,

So a lot of people wanted the mods and weren't sure how to get/install them. This guide should help you get everything configured for our server. If you need any help just add me to steam and I'll do my best to assist you. Anyway here we go:

1. Download arma3sync from here[www.armaholic.com] and install it.
   
2. Run arma3sync. If it complains about administrative privileges you will need to run as administrator. Then go to Start -> type in arma3sync -> Right click the executable and select "Properties" -> Select the "Compatibility" tab -> Check the box next to "Run this program as an administrator" -> Click OK -> Run arma3sync again
   
3. It may prompt you for your arma3 executable. Just browse to your steam folder and go to "steamapps/common/Arma 3/" and select arma3.exe
   
4. Once that's done navigate to "Repositories" in the arma3sync window and click the blue + button on the right.
   
5. Where it says public auto-config url put this: http://repo.a3deltas.com/autoconfig
   
6. Click IMPORT. It will connect and fill in all the required details. Click OK. It will start "checking repository status" which should only take a few seconds.
   
7. In the main arma3sync window (still in repositories tab) select the newly created "Arma3 Deltas" and then click "Connect to Repository" (it's the button on the right below the two green arrows that look like a refresh sign). You can check it's the right one by hovering over it.
   
8. Before we go any further select the "Addon Options" tab at the top. Click the blue plus sign on the right hand side and find your mods folder (personally I have created a folder called "mods" inside my Steam/SteamApps/Common/Arma3 just so it's easier to maintain the mod directories.
   
9. Go back to the "Arma3 Deltas" tab and you should see the location you just set in the "Default destination folder".
   
10. If you already have mods configured to be somewhere else (for example in the main Arma3 directory you should probably continue to use that, or move them all into the new directory you wish to use... don't keep duplicate mod files!
    
11. Here's the easy bit! Click the green tick box to check for available addons. Once that's done; click "select all" and then click the button that looks like a "Start" button (it has a pause button next to it). It may take a while depending on your connection speed.
    
12. Now go to the "Online" tab. Click the plus icon and fill out the required fields (IP: 144.76.63.189, Port: 2302)... and if you don't know the password then you should add Me/DarkEnergy/Drevinus/DeltaGamer on steam and one of us will tell you. Also set the "modset" to be arma3 deltas.
    
13. In the "Addon options" tab look at the "Addon priorities" section and make sure that the addon at the top of the list is CBA_A3!
    
14. Finally, at the bottom of the window you will see a "Join Server" label. Use the dropdown box to select the "Arma3 Deltas" server and click "Start Game".
