Dreamhack Summer list is out !!!

The DreamHack organisers have announced that LDLC.com and Virtus.pro have been invited to take part in this year's Summer event.

DreamHack Summer will run from June 15th to 18th in the city of Jönköping, with 16 teams in contention in the €23,500 CS:GO tournament.

Seven of these 16 participants will be directly invited by the organisation, while the remaining teams will come from various online and LAN tournaments that are organised in several European countries.

It has now been announced that the last two invites will go to Russia-based side Virtus.pro and French team LDLC.com. This will be the first LAN tournament for Kenny "kennyS" Schrub and Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács since joining their respective new teams.

This also means that VeryGames will most likely skip the Swedish event. HLTV.org knows that some of the team's players have exams coming up, so it is possible that they may decide against attending the event.

PyRoGEN pull out of StarSeries

PyRoGEN have announced that they have pulled out of SLTV StarSeries with immediate effect.

The French team were created at the beginning of May with a view to participating in the StarSeries' last-chance qualifier, and eventually secured a place in the league thanks to victories over n!faculty and Nostalgie in this five-team tournament.

Such an achievement allowed SuperstarS to land a deal with PyRoGEN, but the team failed to live up to the hype and finished 17th-24th in the last two RaidCall EMS One Cups after placing 9th-16th in the first one.

They also failed to impress in StarSeries, losing their first three matches in the competition, against ELTZ, CPLAY and zNation.

As a result, the team have called it quits, with Thomas "akeR" Radovic having allegedly decided to take a break from gaming.
