The IJN Set Sail

Holding forth this sword I cut vacuity in twain; In the midst of the great fire, a stream of refreshing breeze! In the Early morning, reports had reached the government of Germany's declaration of war upon the Entente. The Military acted quickly, and considering this was a threat to national security, did so without informing the civilian government. Within hours of the declaration, Japanese ships were arriving in German colonies across the Pacific, including German New Guinea and Qingdao. Upon arriving with enough troops to defend these colonies, the German adminstration offically rennounced their claim to the regions in question, and adminstration passed to the Japanese Empire The 3rd Imperial Army, working with both the 1st and 2nd Imperial Navy, peacefully occupied the colonies without issue. Now came the bigger task.

Operation Shogun Executioner

Both the victor and the vanquished are but drops of dew, but bolts of lightning - thus should we view the world. The time has come for Japan to take her true place is the world as the master of Asia. The IJN working with the Army has commenced an operation to take the Asian colonies of the Entente powers. Targets include Indochina, Malaya and Borneo. The armed forces will strike swiftly to ensure that resistance cannot be mounted. GLORY TO THE EMPEROR!

Elections Postponed

Due to the state of conflict Japan now finds itself in, elections have offically been postponed and the Military has taken over many of the duties of the civilian government, under the direction of the Prime Minister.

Danish Government Mobilizes Navy and Army

The Danish Government recently decided to honor her commitment to the Cenetral Powers. The Kingdom has had sour relations with the Entente ever since the alloed memeber rejected a Danish application on the grounds of Denmark being unstable. The Danish then joined the Central Powers, after Germany promised Schleswig-Holstein after the wa, giving Danes an even greater reason to fight. The Danes who relations had been soured after the Irish Incident are ready to die for thier nation. WIth extreme nationalist propaganda tactics used earlier this year//(roll was a 87)// being used again in every newspaper. The Danish Armies and Navies have been moblized and recuitment stations are swelling with patriots young and old who wish to do their part in the war effort. Danish Flags can be seen everywhere from the royal palce to the street signs. Patroitism has swelled and the Danes are marching to war.
