SERVER RULES:
This is a public server but please keep in mind that we are paying for it out of our own pocket. As such, there are some rules and if you don't like them then please feel free to move to another server or else pay for your own server where you can set your own rules:
- We have flux in the starter pack atm. Please don't exploit this. It is there to allow new players to more easily establish a starting secure building or warehouse or whatever. Don't create multiple characters just to accumulate flux. If I check the DB and see this you will be banned outright.
- No exploiting: Exploits include anything that is obviously a bug, glitch or something that is likely to be corrected in final release. This includes: combat logging, carrying items on back to avoid damage, running into water to avoid damage (except from wolves), placing items in mid-air in unnatural ways. For example, if you placed logs in the air to gain entry to someone to steal then that is exploiting, however, if you piled up dirt or piled up logs in a giant stack, as you could in "real life" then that is OK and probably likely to be possible in final release
- No griefing: My definition of griefing is where a player does damage to another players property or base just for the sake of it and where this is essentially un-repairable. An example would include walling people into their base. The server is PVP and so stealing is not griefing. Cutting down trees or terraforming isn't really griefing, unless it is done for destructive reasons. Taking over ownership of other peoples houses isn't griefing.
- Don't be a tard! - Don't kill people repeatedly for no reason. Don't bring in people from other servers just to PVP people for/with you. If they want to join the server they are welcome to do it proper. It isn't about bullying or ganging up on people. It's about a fair fight for a fair reason - such as to take someones loot/posessions, not just fighting to intimidate and troll people, such that we end up with people leaving the server.
- Please be nice: Try to settle differences without offensive comments or language. With the exception of griefing, I would suggest two responses to an attack: either move somewhere else or else attack them back in kind. The best way to resolve personal feuds is to fight it out PVP with honour in the arena, soon to be located outside the Admin castle in the large clearing opposite the small island on the eastern side of the map. Try to give new spawns a fair go.
