ARK: Survival Evolved group for those interested in a tribe

Once ARK: Survival Evolved launches, I plan on going into the game and going to work with some players and making a base, taming dinosaurs, and ultimately facing the end-game bosses. This group is for those who would be interested in forming a tribe and working together, hopefully ending up successful enough to be large enough of a group to avoid raids from bandit groups.

Also, with it being confirmed that there will be PvE as well as PvPvE servers, does this change anything for anyone at all?

This is a great idea, and I'm glad you are getting this setup beforehand. I am so excited for this game, and want to play it right, with others who want the same thing. Hopefully we'll be able to hit the ground running and be able to get some vital tasks completed, to ensure our survival.

One question I have, is how are we all going to make sure we get on the same server, and how are we going to know where to pick our spawn locations? From what I gather, you are able to pick a general spawn location on the map, but 40+ kilometers is quite a long distance to travel, if we don't all spawn close to each other. Any thoughts?
