ABOUT AoE II HD: Events for Friend

A group to set up events for all friends

GROUP THEME SONG: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-_T7E360Zo

RULES:
1º: no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, be humble and respect each other; this not only goes for the people that join but ourselves too.

2º: keep calm and WOLOLO

DIPLOMACY RULES: (NEW rule, see 3.3)

1: GENERAL

-1.1 Everyone starts on Neutral with each other

-1.2 People must have reasons to declare war ( Credit TRS) This can be things such as over-expansion, land disputes or unkind words about each other's mothers

-1.3 You must announce your declaration of war to everyone on chat and the reason why. (After that you're allowed to attack)

-1.4 Maximum of 1 ally per player and unlimited trade/neutral agreements with others

-1.5 No pre-planning of alliances with players. For example you're not allowed to ally someone knowing you will betray them to help another player, alliances should be based on reality and strategic need

-1.6 Coalitions: Players are allowed to mass declare war on the top player if their score is very high (double the score of the next 2 highest players combined)

2: TERRITORY SYSTEM

-2.1 Borders are denoted by walls and palisades

-2.2 In the early game it's quite likely they will not be built by the tribes so later there may be confusion and resource disputes over alleged territory

-2.3 You can expand your borders as much as you want, ofc claiming too much land way too quickly could easily get you in trouble with too many players. Territory rushing other players in dark age will be frowned upon, don't be that guy.

-2.4 It's possible to negotiate territorial boundaries with other plays instead of going straight to war

-2.5 Common Economic Zone (CEZ) treaties can be made between players. These zones allow shared resource exploitation- No military is allowed to stay in these zones. -They are denoted by double walls or palisades with both player colors on them

-2.6 Water territory is hard to border so that will be based on players ideas of what is their territory. Going to war over sea territory doesn't justify full annexation of another player

3: VASSAL SYSTEM

-3.1 You can make another player a vassal after beating them quite thoroughly in war. They must stay loyal to you for the rest of the game and must provide some tribute.

-3.2 Vassals can be 'freed' by other players who are fighting their master. In this sense, vassals are also a peace treaty tool

-3.3 Vassals will always be allied with their master until freed. Masters, however, can be "enemy" with their vassal in case any "persuasion" is needed.

-3.4 Players can have the usual 1 ally AND a vassal player ally . After all, they have earned it

-3.5 Vassals can declare war independently with their master's agreement, also vassals must follow their masters into war

-3.6 If a vassals score gets higher than their masters then they automatically become free again
