Training week 1

Listen up troops, you've decided to join the war effort and your country thanks you for your sacrifice. Welcome to the Verdun BootCamp, where we hope to teach you how to survive the first few battles, some of you wont return, but we truly hope most of you will.

Today, we will be undertaking the following:

Boot Camp
- Basics
- NCO role
- Squad member role
- Basic defense
- Basic offense
- Etiquette
- Battle
- Picardie map
- German Landsers squads
- Tommies squads

That is all. The training starts in 20 minutes.

- No Flaming
- No chat spamming
- No firing when the NCO's call a "Cease Fire"
- You must have fun
- You must be willing to learn and participate

Offenders will be kicked from the respective groups they are members of - no exceptions.

Well the time has come for some serious Verdun gameplay to occur. All of us have been part of the Verdun early access program and have given a lot of our time to helping make this great WW1 FPS what it is today. As we draw closer to RTM, it's time to train our combined troops, work on our tactics and strategies and show the RTM noobs, what the veteran ANZACS are truly made of.

There will be two training/battle sessions per week, on a wednesday and a saturday. For NZ players the sessions will begin at 6pm NZDST and for our Australian brothers and sisters 8pm ACST - as we progress along our training path - we will look at the time slots and adjust as necessary so we can get a good "across the ditch" battle during the timezone cross over.

This will be a group only event, so you need to be a member of one of the aforementioned groups to participate and a password will be required to join the match (supplied to group members before the event)

We will also post this event into both groups'event calenders, so you will always know when they are being held.

A starter event will be played tonight at 9pm NZDST and 6pm ACST (Australian Central time ( there is a 2 hour difference between the Australian Western, Central and Eastern times, so I have based on Central, you'll need to work out the daylight savings difference as each state has it's own adoption of DST or not))

Further details will be post in approixmately 20 minutes time.

just updating, we still play as a group, even though the last post is from august.

i found last night that the us server only had about 20 players, went over to eu and there was about 80 playing. but your right there has been a dip in players, i think you will find thats because people are just waiting to see how things go with its dev. the last patch slightly screwed the game alitte

Hey guys. Recently redownloaded this game now that it's in a higher stage of beta and was quite shocked to see that it's empty! 0 players online at the time of this post. :/
