Ghost Platoon | 2/75th Ranger Regiment

About Us:

Ghost Platoon was founded in late 2014 by a group of close-knit friends that had been playing the Arma series together for the better part of a decade. In game, Ghost Platoon operates based on established military doctrine and small unit tactics founded and used in the real world. Many of our members have served in the military and continue to offer their expertise and knowledge to better the group. Our structure is modeled after that of a US Army Ranger Platoon. We continuously strive to conduct successful operations using proper planning, procedure, and execution based on real world tactics. We approach our operations with a serious mindset and expect our new members to do the same. However, with all of this said you will not be expected to adhere to strict military customs such as "Yes sir/No sir", "Corporal Smith I lost my rifle", or salute a pretend officer. Unlike other communities in Arma we drop the military formalities and instead use that energy to practice the fundamentals of small unit tactics. This also lends for a more laid back - but still serious environment to enjoy Arma in. Out of game, Ghost Platoon is an active and engaging community of friends. When you join you will not be considered another number but rather a valued member of our community.

Requirements:

• Age Limit: 18+ - NO EXCEPTIONS
  
  
• Working Mic w/ Good communication skills.
  
  
• Real life comes first, all we ask is you let us know if you will be missing Training / Operation.
  
  
• Existing knowledge of Arma Mechanics and Small Unit Tactics preferred, but not required. We're happy to teach any dedicated member.

Unit Schedule:

• Weekly Operations: Sundays, 9 PM EST
  
  
• Weekly Missions: Days vary, 9 PM EST
  
  
• Weekly Training: Thursdays, 9:30 EST
