The 66th Avalon Hussars had a surprisingly docile beginning considering their first three members were either blondes or hot-heads. … Or both … The group came together one night when chaas solo-dropped into a game of Mech Warrior Online with Kyle and Legio_XX.

The latter two invited the former to play with them based on his sarcastic remarks. Later, other players who had experience playing with all three of them trickled into the fold. While there was no formal unit or command structure, it was commonplace for nightly play. At that time, the group unofficially equipped the name “22nd Avalon Hussars.”

Chaas and Legioxx decided to make the group official, re-branding the unit with a new number: The 66th. It is a blatant homage to the Star Wars series, because mixing universes is tons of fun.

They have since branched out into other games and can be found teamkilling each other all across the Steam empire.
