We need to all play, like right now.

It's basically in Open Beta, just like the page here (https://www.facebook.com/tribesascend), and from personal experience, it's the most fun I've had with an FPS in a long time.

If you purchased Portal through the Steam store, you may have noticed it updated yesterday. The update news claims as such: "Changed radio transmission frequency to comply with federal and state spectrum management regulations."

Of course, this is not really true. It's part of the mystery behind what is Portal. How do I know this? Because it added a new achievement entitled Transmission Received. This achievement has no description.

Now, there is a radio (the one that plays the instrumental theme) in each level. The purpose of these is to turn the light on them from red to green by placing them in the right spot in the level. This will then cause the radio to transmit morse code messages.

Nifty, huh? If you want, you can search on Google what the morse code means. The only solid evidence anyone has to go on is ASCII images created from analyzing the sound files. It is suggested these images depict teasers for what could be Portal 2, Half-Life 2: Ep. 3, or even Half-Life 3.

Nobody knows exactly what they are planning... yet. But this new little (BIG) mystery is really interesting.

So one of my recent Facebook statuses became a popular thread for discussing what is supposed to be a live CTF match, TF2-style. Apparently the idea is to have people dressed up as characters (a few have been taken, such as heavy and sniper; weapons have been discussed and it appears Nerf guns are most appropriate) and hold an actual CTF match, with planned deaths/captures/etc. so it's not mass chaos.
I also hear it's supposed to be filmed, so after editing it'll actually look professional (ha ha).

I don't know if this will happen any time soon, but I'm hoping it will at some point. Keep an eye or ear out for updates.

I am so sad that we all are going away. But i want to wish every single one of you good luck at college and good hunting in any game your playing. Show your new college friends the supremacy of the 615. You have my Blessing
